This small quilt will be a wall hanging; I embellished the hearts with embroidery and beading, the hearts are stitched to squares of silk, which I dyed five pastel colors.
I also made a hanging heart - two embellished hearts stitched back to back and ribbon gathered around the edge.

Hello Vivien - a fellow distant stitcher. I wandered in via Alison's blog; I love seeing how differently people interpret the course. I am on the diploma - come and have a browse!
I am the Alison whose blog Janeo wandered by, yes a fellow Distant Stitcher and I am so pleased to see that you do other things as well as the courswork as I was becoming worried that I should be spending all my time on C&G instead of jewelry making and patchwork! But I am also enjoying watching how your coursework develops too.
