Hand and machine stitching is worked diagonally across the fabric.Stitches are worked over the horizontal and vertical threads - a square pattern was made in this way, as well as over the intersections.
Machine threads, wool yarn, silk ribbon, metallic threads , floss and stranded threads were used.
The withdrawn threads have been stitched back at an angle, by staggering the stitches holding them in place.

You are so creative - I'm enjoying seeing your progress on Mod 4. I'm still working on Mod 3, with plans to finish in the next couple of weeks.
